Well, we have all survived the first 2 weeks! Mommy is sleepy, Daddy is glowing, Maci is still nervous, and Trader is FAT!! He was born weighing in at 7.12, we went to the doctor 2 days later and he weighed 7.8.... 1 week later we went to the doctor to get our 1 week screening done, and right before we put him on the scales, the pediatrician was telling me how not to worry if he had lost weight, it was normal, usually takes about 2 weeks to get back up to their birth weight, yadda yadda yadda.... well, lo and behold, Trader, aka 'Piglet' weighed in at a whopping 8 lbs 7 oz. He gained a pound in a week! The doctor thought the nurse weighed him wrong and made us do it all over again. (T was not happy- he had to get all nakey and lay on that collllld metal scale. again.) So, needless to say, he's doing great and getting bigger by the day! Daddy is trying to teach Mommy the 'right' way to burp him- apparently I do it all wrong, because the child will NOT go to sleep for me. But when Dad walks into the room, it's lights-out. Richard says it's because Trader likes him better- I say if he likes Daddy so much better, then why does he only want to stay awake when Mommy is around?? :-) We're having lots of fun, and we're all doing great! Above are some pictures of our new outfits- Uncle Robbie got Trader his first Johnny Cash T-shirt, and Uncle Randy got Trader his first OSU outfit, complete with booties a hat and a polo, so he can have a game day outfit when he watches football with daddy..
